Grand Seiko SBGY007 Omiwatari
Grand Seiko is known for finding inspiration from nature and masterfully expressing that into the form of a luxury watch. That is exactly what they have done with the SBGY007 and some consider it their best work yet. The inspiration for the Grand Seiko SBGY007 comes from the freezing of Lake Suwa. During some winters, there is a section of the lake where an ice ridge freezes from one side to the other. Legend has is that this ice bridge is where the Gods would walk over the ice. The dial and second hand on the Grand Seiko SBGY007 Omiwatari is were we see that inspiration come to life. The textured light blue dial mimics frozen ice and the blue hand represents the frozen land bridge.
