Oris X Momotaro Special Edition Watch Release
What we see in most modern day limited edition watches is collaborations between two separate brands that don’t compliment each other. They are obviously more PR than value adds. I for one think it’s a breath of fresh air to see an established brand like Oris team up with a luxury material manufacture to take their Divers Sixty-Five collection to new heights.
We want to introduce you to the Oris x Momotaro. This collaboration has forged the perfect mix of design, precision, and function. Momotaro Jeans is a high end Japanese Denim clothing company known for the quality of their hand crafted denim products. It’s the attention to detail and the dedication to excellence that established the bond between Oris and Momotaro to create the Oris x Momotaro Diver Sixty-Five Special Edition. A Quick Look At The Oris x Momotaro
The Oris x Momotaro is a special edition of the Oris Diver Sixty-Five series. The Diver Sixty-Five series is a well known dive watch that inherits a beautiful vintage design and can be worn daily. Since the launch of the Oris Diver Sixty-Five back in 2015, the series has seen lots of success within the watch community. It only makes sense that now is the time to team up with another popular brand known for excellent craftsmanship and detail.
At first glance, the color combinations of the Oris x Momotaro really jump out at you. It’s not easy to get blue, black, green, white, bronze, and stainless steel to all blend together into a design. Bravo Oris, well done! Not only does a special edition collaboration need to be a mix of what each party does well but it needs to stand out and be unique. The Oris x Momotaro has definitely checked both those boxes.

Our Take
If you’ve read the article to this point, it’s pretty obvious that we like this watch. We were already pretty high on the Diver Sixty-Five series and now with the special edition collaboration with the Japanese Momotaro Jeans company, we think this will be a hit. If we were to guess, the Oris x Momotaro will be more popular in the Asian market because of the familiarity with Momotaro Jeans but the execution of the design alone will provide a strong demand in the US & Europe.
Oris X Momotaro Pricing
