Rolex Has Released Their New Watches Of 2020
It may be a little late in the year 2020 for the new Rolex watches but we’ll take something rather than nothing. As anticipated the hallmark of this years releases was the update to the Rolex Submariner. Already fan reactions have been split but most of the positive feedback for the new 2020 Rolex models have been for the new Rolex Submariner. Let’s do a quick overview of the new 2020 releases with the option to explore each new model in more detail with specific articles.
Rolex Submariner 41mm
The most anticipated announcement of this year was the new Rolex Submariner 41 mm. The new Submariner features a larger diameter but a slimmer lug length. This new update is in-line with what most Submariner enthusiasts were looking for. We are anxious to wait to see how it actually fits on the wrist.
There were plenty of new references to go around with the new 2020 Rolex Submariner. Essentially all previous Submariners were discontinued. Yes, that also includes the Hulk. The new variants that we did see introduced today was the updated Kermit with a ceramic dial and a precious metal blue bezel with a black dial.
2020 has been a rough year for everyone. Although we saw most of the new releases to be somewhat bla, it was very noticeable that Rolex has been working on this new Submariner for awhile and are glad to finally see it.
Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 & Colorful Dials
An ever increasing popular model within Rolex is the Oyster Perpetual collection. This year we were introduced to a new case size (41mm) and a bunch of new eccentric dial colors.
Personally we are fans of the more traditional dial colors and we think most Rolex fans are too. That doesn’t mean that Rolex knows something that we don’t though. The addition of a wider set of untraditional dial colors might bring in a new set of Rolex buyers that didn’t exist before so we are interested in following this to see what happens.
What wasn’t said that sent ripples through the Rolex community was that the Oyster Perpetual 39mm White Dial was discontinued. We are sad to see that model last for such a short period of time but are thrilled to see see the new silver sunburst dial with yellow gold hand and markers.
Rolex Ladies Datejust 31
It’s the ladies turn with the update to the Datejust 31. The diamonds have come out to play along with beautiful sunburst dials which include a unique royal purple. The additional of this elegant Ladies Datejust 31 bring a new level of sophistication and class to the Datejust collection.
Rolex Skydweller With Oysterflex Bracelet
This years new addition to the 2020 Rolex Skydweller was more versatility compared to engineering. The introduction of the Oysterflex bracelet on precious metals provides this watch the ability to be a bit more rugged. It is a bit strange though that it’s only included on precious metal options. This may be a quick addition to a 2020 line-up that needed some bit of a change without many resources.
