New Movements For New Rolex Submariners

The most anticipated release for Rolex this year is undoubtably the new Rolex Submariner 41. What most Rolex fans are excited about with this new model is the introduction of both the Rolex in-house calibres 3230 & 3235 movements for the Submariner. It’s been over a decade since the Rolex Submariner has seen a new movement. For a brand that bides it’s time, time paid off in this case for Rolex. The new 3230 & 3235 movements are exactly what the watch community was looking for and what will propel the Submariner collection into the future.

Rolex Calibre 3230 Movement

The new Rolex calibre 3230 movement is housed in the new no-date Rolex Submariner reference 124060. The new movement for the Rolex Submariner no-date most notably features a 70 hour power reserve with updated anti-shock absorbing technology. Although the previous movement was and still is a solid workhorse, the new 3230 Rolex in-house movement is ready to take the famous dive watch collection to new heights.

Rolex Calibre 3235 Movement

The new Rolex Submariner Date 41mm was improved with the additional of the Rolex in-house calibre 3235 movement. The Calibre 3235 movement is a mirror image to the calibre 3230 but with the addition of a date wheel. Rolex enthusiasts have long craved a movement that could compete with the Omega Seamaster 300m or Omega Planet Ocean. That day is now here with the improved power reserve, shock durability, and length of serviceability.
